I was really disappointed when I went to Jamie McGuire's book signing today. I got there about 30 minutes to an hour early and they had already run out of copies of Beautiful Disaster. What disappointed me was that several people bought 5-7 copies of the book ready to be signed.
I did find a few other goodies while there though that kind of made up for it.

DeleteBummer that you did not get your book signed. I would think they would limit one book per customer. What are these people doing with 5 to 7 copies either maybe getting for friends or may selling on ebay. Looks like you still got some yummy goodies!

I LOVE signed books! I think I will end up on Hoarders some day but it will all be signed books that I just can't make myself get rid of! >.< Too bad you could not get the one you wanted signed, that would totally bum me out! Cute octopus though. :)

DeleteOh man. That really sucks! I've never been to a book signing before (they never come close enough) but I've sent my mom to Gina Domico's signing since her and I are from the same hometown. So she always stops there on her tour. Mom's never had a problem getting books. I usually have her grab me two, one for myself and one for a giveaway. I would think that the store would A.) make sure they have a sufficient supply of books for the signing and B.) have a cap on how many people can buy. But that's just me.
